KP Baker is a children’s eBook author of the Fireman Max series as well as several other children’s eBooks. She writes fiction books for kids that all teach a valuable lesson about the world around them. The books that she writes are for boys and girls based on the notion of “What I want to be When I Grow Up,” as well as other fictional topics. Her books show kids about the value of following their dreams and making them a reality, despite the obstacles that they might face.
One of her most recent books, “Fireman Max and the Vegetable Garden Mystery,” has received raving reviews on Amazon with descriptions such as “feel good story,” “wonderful lesson for kids,” and “refreshing role model for kids.” Other titles in KP Baker’s collection include “The Tale of Abby – The 2nd Grade Cheerleader,” “Baseball Ethan and his Little League Dreams,” and “Soccer Games – Jessica’s First Soccer Goal.” Each of these books have received exceptional reviews on Amazon and have helped kids everywhere learn the excitement involved in sports, the value of joining a team and the excitement of reaching their own goals.
KP Baker realized that she wanted to be a writer when she was just a young kid. In 2nd grade her school had a writing competition that KP entered. This book about a lonely penguin helped her not only win the school award, but go all the way to the state level to win the top prize. From then on, she could always be found with a pen in her hand and her thoughts in the clouds, constantly drafting stories and books for herself. It wasn’t until she became a mother that KP decided to make her passion for writing children’s books a reality. She had always had a desire to become a teacher to help other kids learn about the world around them in a positive way, but having kids at a young age precluded her from doing that. She decided that writing books about the valuable lessons that she taught her kids at home was the next best thing.
KP lives in Northern California with her family of six. She homeschools her children, which is how she satisfies her desire to become a teacher. She can often be found playing outdoors with her kids and two dogs, running around the park, hiking, fishing or sitting at home cuddled up with a good book. KP loves to ignite her imagination and encourages the same in her children as well as her captive audience.
